DCSG Spring Gathering – Druid Wood Land Tour
Druid Wood is a 23 acre, tree covered site on the edge of the moor, close to Ashburton. This is a restorative woodland project growing trees for environmental benefit, whilst increasing soil and biodiversity. Focusing on the growth and harvesting of woodland products that increase resources and the resilience of the local community. It is an off grid, no waste site, using regenerative practices to help create more diverse ecosystems. The tour will take in woodland old and new, coppice areas of different species, the nut plantation, the greenwood and the edible /medicinal orchard.
